GAY ART ARTICLE: ALL BODY, ALL SMILES - THE ART OF KINU SEKIGUCHI

All Body, All Smiles - The Art of Kinu Sekiguchi
Written by Sandra Scholes

Anime and manga art has gripped most of Europe with artists in Spain, Italy and one in particular who resides in Paris.

A graduate in graphic design, Kinu started to create handsome men, bringing out the very best of their sexuality as strong, happy and always smiling, even if they were Sebastian with arrows in his torso.

No stranger to exhibitions, Kinu's art has been showcased in Toulouse, Paris, Milano, Koln and Barcelona. Most recently his new exhibition of his work has been in Paris on the 20th of October to the 3 of November in 2014. His style is influenced by the manga art of Japan where large eyes and a cute smile are complimented with a small nose and wild hair. It can be seen that he has studied this eastern style of art with its dark lines and subtle two toned shading to create his own instantly likeable style.

His work has been collected for a postcard book called Manga Boys and comes with a cover showing a handsome male with a wedge haircut and a killer body with only a towel covering his modesty. His huge wings give him an otherworldly look that suits the theme for the rest of the book. As there are a couple of other winged men in his portfolio, it seems Kinu is fond of angels among other winged beauties; Sebastian, though bound and pierced with an arrow, still gives us a cheeky look at his rear, while an ocean scene depicts a half-naked hunk with leathery wings, holding a cross, shark swimming behind him. He isn't afraid, he's as strong as the other.
