One love. One man. Two chances.
Ashley has her life sorted out. After a painful divorce, she has now rebuilt her life as an editor. She is happy with her life—until her ex-husband Andrew walks into it, opening up the deep scars that even time has failed to heal.
He’s gorgeous, funny and as utterly tempting as he was seven years ago. Plus, being the editor for his new book, she cannot avoid him. But Andrew has his own issues lingering from the past.
Bound together by work, every breath they take draws them closer, into the same hopeless, passionate love that they once shared...
Review:
Not everyone has the opportunity for a second chance, but some do and Ashley could if she put her mind to it. Romance has a way of making anything possible, as Ashley thinks that Andrew could be the one guy who makes her weak at the knees. Life for them rushes by once they've got together then they marry and after a year it doesn't work out and they divorce.
Roll on seven years after the disappointment has set in and the two of them have actually gone on to do very well in their lives; Ashley has her own career she can enjoy and make some decent money from and achieve her independence, and Andrew has discovered that he could do all that and more with his life without hurting another person in the process.
Andrew does regret what happened to their marriage, and believes he can't change things to be the way they were. All things considered over the course of the story they have both since matured to be better people than they were as Ashley is less naive about relationships and Andrew less focussed on his business and not her.
The question is, what will the two of them do with the rest of their lives now? Will they find someone else, or the bigger question is find each other again and make a much better go of their relationship as it's more a case of trying to recapture what they had before it went wrong. You're Still the One is a story that keeps the faith that even if a relationship might be doomed to failure, there is always a way to rekindle it in the future. And as no one knows what the future holds, anything could - and will happen.
