BOOK REVIEW: HOW TO BE A HEROINE BY SAMANTHA ELLIS

How to be a Heroine by Samantha Ellis

After an argument with her best friend about two of the world's best ever heroines in romance novel history, Samantha Ellis came to the conclusion that there were more famous heroines out there in popular romance novels and finding Out all of their traits would be almost a life's work.

Here she has listed eleven of who she thinks are the most different and interesting heroines of fiction though the Little Mermaid is one of the more strange and oddball of them. Cathy Earnshaw, Lizzy Bennet and Scarlett O'Hara are, for me the ones I remember. Scheherazade is one who I recall from my childhood and still stands today as a strong female role model who managed to get an angry king to see sense.

Her select eleven women are the ones she has decided to analyse as they all lead very different lifestyles and are from different periods in history.
