Synopsis:
Destined Dates Agency for the Supernatural
Finds and matches the Supernatural with their true love mates

Jane is totally disillusioned with men, but when she’s given a card for a Supernatural Dating Agency that matches supernatural beings of all kinds with their true love mates, she registers herself on it, hoping for the best. After all, what does she have to lose?

Victor is a grumpy polar bear shifter who regularly gets up on the wrong side of the bed, and when he’s matched with Jane as his mate, all he wants to do is run…. away from her!

Basically, he has a big problem: his polar bear has fallen in love with Jane and has promptly disowned Victor – it’s gone on strike! It won’t shift. It won’t talk to him. It won’t even let him ballet dance to relieve the stress! Nothing.
Unless Victor bares all with Jane, the only thing his inner animal is prepared to bare is his teeth.

A bear shifter that doesn't have his bear… a bear that doesn’t have his mate… it’s enough to send a shifter crazy!

Review:
One of the reasons I wanted to read this book was, of course the back cover blurb, but what drew me in was the very beautiful cover image and I'm sure it will attract many readers wanting to buy it. There are more supernatural beings novels around nowadays as people like the idea of writing about several different animals. Here we have a nice twist on this series as Jane, once handed a card for a Supernatural Dating Agency thinks she might find her perfect mate - with any luck one who truly understands her and her issues.

Her registering on it is something she is willing to do as she has a less than clear idea of what she wants from a man. The one who is a perfect match ends up being Victor, but he's a polar bear shifter who isn't as amazing as she thought he would be. Victor is a ballerina shifter, the sort of thing Jane would never have expected, certainly I didn't, but it does add some fun to the story as well as added interest as it is a defined quirk readers will adore.

On the flip side, Victor has his own problems as he can't survive as a shifter without the use of his bear side - which incidentally has decided, through the love of Jane to disown him. Without his bear side he can't change into his beloved bear as his bear side already loves Jane and gives him a hard time during his life with Jane. If he doesn't fall in love with her, he might never change into his bear side again and enjoy the feel of bounding around his neighbourhood with the wind rushing through his fur. I do like that the twist of the story is that the agency can get the perfect supernatural beings together, but as Victor has a problem with his falling for Jane when his being has already fallen for her, this romantic arrangement could be impossible.

Summary: It's an exciting read with a lot of potential for a second novel in the series.
