Jinsoo is overcome with grief after the loss of his dearest half - brother. As his father is so worried about him, he enlists the help of sexy male acupuncturist and healer, Donghyun. In his capacity as his new doctor, he can help heal him in ways he might not have considered, mostly  with potions, tonics and acupuncture, but his other brand of healing might take his mind off his grief.

When Dr Donghyun comes to their village, everyone is surprised at how young and handsome he really is, but more than that, they also wonder how he can heal him when many others have tried and failed. With Jinsoo being so stubborn about his grief and the fact he doesn't want to live when his half-brother died at the hands of Japanese raiders, he might be onto a losing streak after so many successful attempts with other patients. Jinsoo might be stubborn, but he hasn't met anyone like his new doctor. His apprentice thinks he's a pervert for some of the things he tells him, though after a few home appointments, Jinsoo relents and takes the tonics he prepares him. After a while Jinsoo does get better, yet his wounds aren't the ones on his chest that make him ache - they are the wounds of the heart, and his new doctor has noticed.

With cover art that is sensual and colourful, and interior art that shows how handsome both Jinsoo and Dr Donghyun are this is the sort of boys love novel with a difference as it is set in an older time where love was fleeting and experimental. The art is a mix of lines and grey tones that compliment the overall look of the work, and the sex scenes do a lot to continue the story.

Verdict: Sexy, period drama about two love-birds who should be together!
