Fallen in Love: New Tales from the Fallen World
Lauren Kate
Publisher:

Blurb: Unexpected. Unrequited. Forbidden. Eternal. Everyone has their own love story. And in a twist of fate, four extraordinary love stories combine over the course of a romantic Valentine's Day in Medieval England. Miles and Shelby find love where they least expect it. Roland learns a painful lesson about finding and losing love. Arianne pays the price for a love so fierce it burns. And for the first – and last – time, Daniel and Luce will spend a night together like none other. Lauren Kate's Fallen in Love is filled with love stories . . . the ones everyone has been waiting for.

True love never says goodbye . . .

Review:  Four love stories where the characters are as different as they are impressive. Miles and Shelby, Daniel and Lucinda and each story tells of their love and the risks they take to keep it alive. The Valentine of Shelby and Miles has the two of them leave the Announcer. They had already been into the past, from a cell in the Bastile, a Chinese battlefield, but it is where they find Daniel in old Jerusalem looking for Luce. Though a necessary evil, Announcers are the creepiest of places, and Shelby hoped they wouldn't get lost in the woods when they go back to their dorm.

Their previous mission had them rescuing Luce who the demons and angels were interested in. They were still looking for Luce, and along with Daniel they seemed to get along fine. Their real problems start when they are in the Middle Ages rather then making their way back to the dorm. Valentine's Day medieval style is not high on Shelby's list of priorities, but for now they will have to put up with it.

After thoughts: Fallen in Love is a Fallen fans dream where they can soak up the several stories in here based on the novels and see their characters in different settings, some more humorous than others.
