Blurb: All that's left of infamous demon hunter Ivy Strom's family is the brother who vanished three years ago. Now that she's finally close to finding him, the last distraction she needs is sexy half human, half demon Ronan Ames. The tainted blood in his veins makes him a foe.

Yet his unique abilities make him a powerful partner. She can't resist his help in the search for the vicious enemy that can locate her brother, who holds the key to hell and Ronan's salvation. Nor can she deny the searing desire that draws them together…even though a passionate alliance might destroy them both.

Review: This s an interesting duo, a demon hunter teaming up with a sexy demon to find out the truth of why her brother is missing. Among the demon world, Ivy is famous, legendary even; beautiful with flowing black hair, blue eyes and an amazing body. It's a pity she is cold as stone around men, especially demon men. When she meets him in an alleyway and he tells her he has got demon blood in him, she is ready to kill him - until he tells her he is actually a cambion, a rarity as most of their kind die after going through the transformation. It is also lucky for her they have a common enemy and he knows where he lives.

In Releasing the Hunter, opposites seem to attract. Ivy doesn't like trusting Ronan as he is part demon, but he hasn't tried to kill her, so she teams up with him so long as he remembers she is running the show. She acts as though she doesn't like his manner, but being around him makes her tingle at his touch. Similarly Ronan feels how sexy she is being close to her at times, and her scent entices him, even though he views her as harsh and nagging, but they do get on in a peculiar way - they understand each other and as they have a common goal, they have the time to get know each other more as they have to accept the fact they are inseparable.

Juicy bits:
* Ames getting a hard-on when he is in close contact with Ivy!
* The rumour that she doesn't smile (and other rumours).
* Daera the lust demon! Need we say more?

After thoughts: Ivy and Ronan are a great couple with a lot of dangerous chemistry and some very comical moments that wouldn't be out of place in a horror sit-com. The closer they get to Quinn, her brother, the closer they get to the real mystery of his disappearance. There are well thought out characters in a tight plot that gets more dangerous every chapter.
